I would have thought that by now there would be better diet medicines than phen-pro. Well. Not only are there no better medicines, but phen-pro is almost the only man left standing. They took ephedra and Meridia off the market. The FDA blocked Qnexa and Contrave. Hoodia withered. Public Citizen is even complaining about Alli. Alli! which does no harm and no good.
Didrex, being methamphetamine, is addictive. Phendimetrazine was linked to primary pulmonary hypertension in the 1996 case control study by Lucien Abenhaim. As an expert, I had to so testify on cross-examination in a case against a doctor. Actually it was phenmetrazine in the Abenhaim study, but the liver converts phendimetrazine to phenmetrazine, the active form. As I said, phentermine and Tenuate are all that's left safe. Phentermine has been on the market since 1959. Few other drugs in the doctor's toolbox are as old as that, or have such a good safety record. There is no evidence against phentermine when it wasn't paired with fenfluramine. Fenfluramine did all the dirt. It is the greatest tragedy of my life that phentermine and fenfluramine start with the same sound, and 70% of people and 90% of doctors are too stupid or lazy to understand that phentermine and fenfluramine are different.Articles on the same subject can be found here:
